You can call each file with Execute and the import => 0 parameter (I guess
that's what your preload_dir function does). In this case all memory that is
not modified during runtime is shared between Apache childs. You can read
more about this in the mod_perl guide (for Embperl loaded this way it
behaves the same as Perl modules preload on startup)
