Subject problems using HTML::Embperl
Date Fri, 06 Dec 2002 09:55:35 GMT

can anybody help me? it seems i did HTML::Embperl installation in wrong way

following stuff gets written into my apache errors log file:

[Fri Dec  6 11:04:07 2002] [error] Can't locate
auto/HTML/Embperl/ in @INC (@INC contains:
/usr/lib/perl5/5.6.0/i386-linux /usr/lib/perl5/5.6.0
/usr/lib/perl5/site_perl/5.6.0/i386-linux /usr/lib/perl5/site_perl/5.6.0
/usr/lib/perl5/site_perl . /usr/local/apache/ /usr/local/apache/lib/perl) at
/usr/lib/perl5/site_perl/5.6.0/i386-linux/HTML/ line 762

Compilation failed in require at (eval 8) line 3.
[Fri Dec 6 11:04:07 2002] [error] Can't locate loadable object for module
HTML::Embperl in @INC (@INC contains: /usr/lib/perl5/5.6.0/i386-linux
/usr/lib/perl5/5.6.0 /usr/lib/perl5/site_perl/5.6.0/i386-linux
/usr/lib/perl5/site_perl/5.6.0 /usr/lib/perl5/site_perl . /usr/local/apache/
/usr/local/apache/lib/perl) at (eval 8) line 3

contents of /usr/lib/perl5/site_perl/5.6.0/i386-linux/auto/HTML/Embperl:
-r--r--r--    1 root     root          448 Oct 29 14:21
-r-xr-xr-x    1 root     root       170047 Dec  4 16:50

lots of more resides in /usr/lib/perl5/site_perl/5.6.0/i386-linux/HTML so i
think HTML::Embperl files were installed there

related configuration in httpd.conf is:
<Directory "/xxxx/xxx/...">
   <Files *.html>
      SetHandler perl-script
      PerlHandler HTML::Embperl
      allow from all
      PerlSendHeader On
    Options ExecCGI Indexes FollowSymLinks
    AllowOverride All
    Order allow,deny
    Allow from all
</Directory> file looks like:

$ENV {GATEWAY_INTERFACE} =~ /^CGI-Perl/ or die "Gateway_interface not perl!";
use DBI;
use Zoomserver();
use ZoomserverXML();
use Apache::AuthDBI;
1; file doesn't refer directly to HTML::Embperl as i understood and
problem is not in web server's setup but in Emperl itself?
