There was some talk of a new module Apache::Bootstrap which takes care of everything. Of course, we would definitely need to ship this module with mod_perl releases, since it would probably be required by all the other Apache::* modules, so I don't know if that solves one problem and creates another :) -- Red Hot Penguin Consulting LLC mod_perl/PostgreSQL consulting and implementation http://www.redhotpenguin.com/ --------------040206040306030601090807 Content-Type: message/rfc822; name="[rt.cpan.org #34316] Makefile.PL maze can lead to unnecessary FAIL reports.eml" Content-Transfer-Encoding: 7bit Content-Disposition: inline; filename*0="[rt.cpan.org #34316] Makefile.PL maze can lead to unnecessar"; filename*1="y FAIL reports.eml" Delivered-To: fred@redhotpenguin.com Received: by 10.142.134.16 with SMTP id h16cs98681wfd; Thu, 15 May 2008 20:59:18 -0700 (PDT) Received: by 10.114.36.1 with SMTP id j1mr3286117waj.119.1210910358097; Thu, 15 May 2008 20:59:18 -0700 (PDT) Return-Path: Received: from x1.develooper.com (x1.develooper.com [63.251.223.170]) by mx.google.com with SMTP id m40si9904749wag.50.2008.05.15.20.59.07; Thu, 15 May 2008 20:59:18 -0700 (PDT) Received-SPF: neutral (google.com: 63.251.223.170 is neither permitted nor denied by best guess record for domain of www-data@bestpractical.com) client-ip=63.251.223.170; Authentication-Results: mx.google.com; spf=neutral (google.com: 63.251.223.170 is neither permitted nor denied by best guess record for domain of www-data@bestpractical.com) smtp.mail=www-data@bestpractical.com Received: (qmail 30456 invoked by uid 225); 16 May 2008 03:58:21 -0000 Delivered-To: PHRED@cpan.org Received: (qmail 30448 invoked by alias); 16 May 2008 03:58:21 -0000 X-Spam-Status: No, hits=-2.6 required=8.0 tests=BAYES_00 X-Spam-Check-By: la.mx.develooper.com Received: from la.mx.develooper.com (HELO x1.develooper.com) (63.251.223.176) by la.mx.develooper.com (qpsmtpd/0.28) with SMTP; Thu, 15 May 2008 20:58:13 -0700 Received: (qmail 30318 invoked from network); 16 May 2008 03:58:09 -0000 Received: from x16.dev (10.0.100.26) by x1.dev with QMQP; 16 May 2008 03:58:09 -0000 X-Spam-Level: * Received: from diesel.bestpractical.com (HELO diesel.bestpractical.com) (4.79.3.63) by 16.mx.develooper.com (qpsmtpd/0.43rc1) with ESMTP; Thu, 15 May 2008 20:58:07 -0700 Received: by diesel.bestpractical.com (Postfix, from userid 33) id 860714D80D9; Thu, 15 May 2008 23:58:04 -0400 (EDT) Subject: [rt.cpan.org #34316] Makefile.PL maze can lead to unnecessary FAIL reports From: "Philip M.
