I'm not sure what is your question, Carl. Are you talking about the RC 
series or 2.0.x series? For RC series, call them anyway you prefer, 
ideally 2.0.0-RCX. internally it'll be still 1.99_xx, since you can't 
numerically check for $VERSION > 2.0.0-RC1.
