You are running the tests as root and it seems to be causing a few
simple permission problems (Can't exec "/backup/apache/bin/httpd":
Permission denied)

Feels to me like /backup/apache/bin/httpd isn't 0755.

Double-check that and you can also try to build & test mod_perl as a
non-root user and "make install" as root as the last step if you want a
system-wide install.

-------------8<---------- Start Bug Report ------------8<----------
1. Problem Description:

I am attempting to install mod_perl 2. The computer is a Sun Ultra10,
running Solaris 8. As you can see from this file, I am running perl
and recently built apache 2.0.45.

While running 'make test', I get many errors and items noted as
before the process finally hangs at compat/request_body. I kill that
process from another window, and let the test complete.

Here is the captured output while running 'make test':
# make test
cd "src/modules/perl" && make -f Makefile.modperl
/usr/local/bin/perl -Iblib/arch/Apache2 -Iblib/lib/Apache2 \
t/TEST -clean
/usr/local/bin/perl -Iblib/arch/Apache2 -Iblib/lib/Apache2 \
t/TEST -verbose=0
*** root mode: changing the fs ownership to 'nobody' (60001:60001)
/backup/apache/bin/httpd  -d /root/work/mod_perl-1.99_09/t -f
/root/work/mod_perl-1.99_09/t/conf/httpd.conf -DAPACHE2
using Apache/2.0.45 (prefork MPM)

[Tue May 06 14:31:37 2003] [error] [client] Can't exec
