Subject AW: help with api usage (inline link target)
Date Mon, 09 May 2016 12:24:18 GMT
thanks Tilman,

is there is no concept like in html where anchors can reference any element with an id?
It seems to be either an page or a rectangle on the screen, is there no way to reference a
particular
text , perhaps with named destinations ?

best regards,
   David

This is similar, you use one of the other PDPageDestination classes.
(PDPageFitDestination
<https://pdfbox.apache.org/docs/2.0.0/javadocs/org/apache/pdfbox/pdmodel/interactive/documentnavigation/destination/PDPageFitDestination.html>,
PDPageFitHeightDestination
<https://pdfbox.apache.org/docs/2.0.0/javadocs/org/apache/pdfbox/pdmodel/interactive/documentnavigation/destination/PDPageFitHeightDestination.html>,
PDPageFitRectangleDestination
<https://pdfbox.apache.org/docs/2.0.0/javadocs/org/apache/pdfbox/pdmodel/interactive/documentnavigation/destination/PDPageFitRectangleDestination.html>,
PDPageXYZDestination
<https://pdfbox.apache.org/docs/2.0.0/javadocs/org/apache/pdfbox/pdmodel/interactive/documentnavigation/destination/PDPageXYZDestination.html>)

Yours is probably PDPageFitRectangleDestination <https://pdfbox.apache.org/docs/2.0.0/javadocs/org/apache/pdfbox/pdmodel/interactive/documentnavigation/destination/PDPageFitRectangleDestination.html>.

See table 151 in the 32000 PDF specification.

very well. what I need is an inline link to a paragraph or section/text fragment. What is
the corresponding PD* class for that kind of link?
