Issue ID: 125170
Issue Type: DEFECT
Summary: Calc will not allow dates to be entered in the GB/UK
format, even with GB Language pack installed
Product: Calc
Version: 4.1.0
Hardware: Mac
OS: Mac OSX, all
Status: UNCONFIRMED
Severity: normal
Priority: P3
Component: formatting
Assignee: issues@openoffice.apache.org
Reporter: handyside@nitrotek.com
Date Format set to 31. Dec. 1999
When 5th of July is entered as "5/7", "7. May. 2014" is displayed.
(When 5th of July is entered as "5/7/14", "14. Jul. 2005" is displayed!)
UK format is DD/MM/YYYY
Language is UK
Cell is set to DD. MMM. YYYY
yet still the date displayed is incorrect.
I'm OK with the ISO format SAVING the data that way.
But I should be able to ENTER the data in the chosen Date Format.
I can in Excel. Why not in OO??
