By the default, the AOO dialog are used. You can switch that option with the dialog that opens by selecting the menu "Tools" - "Options...". In the tree on the left, select "OpenOffice.org" - "General", there you have "Open/Save dialogs", uncheck "Use OpenOffice.org dialogs".
