Subject Re: OpenJPA in WebSphere clustered environment
Date Thu, 23 Oct 2008 03:54:23 GMT

Hi,
  > Does anyone have experience running JPA in a WebSphere cluster?
I had developed the L2 cache synchronization for OpenJPA in clustered
Weblogic environment where the synchronization data piggybacked on the same
multicast transport that WLS cluster instances used to communicate with each
other. In case of Websphere cluster,
  a) what is the transport being used for communicating changes across
different L2 caches?
  b) how are the parameters of the transport being configured?
If, for example, tcp is being used then are you manually configuring
the send/listen ports on each cluster instances?
