Content-Type: text/plain; charset=ISO-8859-1; format=flowed Content-Transfer-Encoding: 7bit X-Virus-Checked: Checked by ClamAV on apache.org How does everyone feel about finally starting a Logo contest? Proposed rules: 1) All submissions require an ICLA or CCLA and released under ASL 2.0. 2) Logos for website banner must be no more than 120 pixels high and supplied as PNG files with transparent backgrounds (additional formats like PSD or SVG are optional but preferred for future editing.) 3) Website theme redesign will not be part of the contest, due to complexity with exporting Confluence content, but minor tweaks will be considered. 4) Submitted entries will be placed on or linked from a Logo Contest wiki page for viewing. Proposed timeframe: 1) Contest runs June 8 through June 21 2) Voting runs from Noon EDT on June 22 through midnight on June 28 (PMC decides final logo) 3) Winner will be announced June 29 The contest would be announced by email announcement to the users and dev mailing lists and a news item on the website.
