Subject Integration testing

Hi Kevin,

We should try to do a better job of getting test cases checked in for  
significant patches. Can the tests that you're using to validate the  
222 changes be made available to the rest of the community?

Perhaps we should expand on the integration test concept used now for  
examples and tck integration testing. As we develop more and more  
integration tests, it will become a real drag to incorporate these  
tests into a successful mvn build. So some strategy will be needed to  
be able to build quickly but run the integration tests when desired.
