You are not understanding the diagram. You can see the WORK EFFORT 
subtypes connected to WORK EFFORT TYPE. That is how the subtypes are 
implemented - not as separate entities (or tables) but as a field in 
WORK EFFORT (WORK EFFORT TYPE ID).
