Subject [jira] [Commented] (MINIFICPP-1233) Create Regression Tests for H2O Processors using pytest-mock
Date Fri, 29 May 2020 18:16:00 GMT

Arpad Boda commented on MINIFICPP-1233:

[~james.medel] How do you plan to test your processors without the c++ code?

I think you can test some Python functions as standalones, but can't really verify that your
H20 processors properly use the framework (handling flowfiles, attributes, etc).

Because of this I would go with the hybrid approach in case that looks feasible.

Maybe I misunderstand something of the above, so feel free to fix me.

these two new processors by having regression tests. We will explore and plan to use pytest-mock
([]) testing framework to implement the regression
tests for the new processors. Therefore, these new processors would be easier to merge.
