Subject [jira] [Commented] (NIFI-1196) FETCH Events are not properly handled in the framework and UI
Date Sun, 22 Nov 2015 01:20:10 GMT

Tony Kurc commented on NIFI-1196:

patch applied clean, no whitespace, license, or checkstyle issues. Tested with the template
provided and clicked through the provenance events and I didn't see the behavior that [~JPercivall]
described (i.e. I reasonably believe it works)

Tested it with the retrieve changes in NIFI-1086, with the template provided and with and
without the GenerateFlowFile

+1 - will merge into master with the NIFI-1086 changes.

> When the FETCH ProvenanceEventType was incorporated some of its handling was not propagated
throughout the framework. This is chiefly inclusive of:
> * Presenting transit uri in the Provenance event info within the UI
> * Writing/Reading provenance events into the StandardRecordReader/Writer
> * Handling in the StandardProcessSession for counting flowfiles in/out and their bytes
> The net result is that unique properties, in this case believed to be only transit URI
were never persisted and/or received.
