Subject Re: JSF 2.2 status & snapshot usage
Date Sun, 27 Oct 2013 20:44:39 GMT
Hi

I tried the test provided with the latest snapshot of myfaces 2.2.x and
with a snapshot of tomee and it is working. There is no any relationship
between CDI and passthrough elements. From this fragment:

    <body jsf:id="body">
        <form jsf:id="form">
            <input type="text" jsf:id="name"
                pt:placeholder="Enter name"
                jsf:value="#{helloBean.name}"/>
            <button jsf:action="welcome">Welcome Me</button>
        </form>
    </body>

Here is the output:

<body id="body">
<form id="form" name="form" method="post"
action="/tomee-test-1.0.0-SNAPSHOT/hello.jsf
<view-source:http://localhost:8080/tomee-test-1.0.0-SNAPSHOT/hello.jsf>"
enctype="application/x-www-form-urlencoded">
<input id="form:name" name="form:name" type="text" value=""
placeholder="Enter name" />
<button id="form:j_id_8" name="form:j_id_8" type="submit">Welcome Me</button>
<input type="hidden" name="form_SUBMIT" value="1" />
<input type="hidden" name="javax.faces.ViewState"
id="j_id__v_0:javax.faces.ViewState:1"
value="KGflqkLizy6aeiWE+tznW4f+m6KKaOQ3GYAzpEGWPUMmMmaR" />
</form>
</body>
