I used TomEE 1.5.1 with the latest MyFaces snapshot downloaded from the Maven repo:

A. myfaces-api-2.1.11-20130326.172326-313.jar
B. myfaces-impl-2.1.11-20130326.172329-313.jar

1. Deploy application using /manager application with filename demo#faces.war (which results
in /demo/faces as the context path)).
2. Browse to http://localhost:8080/demo/faces
3. Observe stack trace.
