A facet isn't a component.

A facet is a special kind of component attribute that takes a
component (represented by component tags) as an argument instead of a
string.

Ie, instead of saying <component title="myTitle"...., with the right
kind of component, you could say

<component>
     <facet name="title">
          <myTitleComponent/>
     </facet>
 <component>

This is also why a facet can only have a single child while components
can have multiple children -- the value of the component is a to-one
"set" operation rather than a to-many "addChild()" operation.
