In Dennis' case its not ibiblio that is the problem.  The
myfaces-core-project pom is coming from the core project itself.  Make
sure you run 'mvn install' from the top-level core dir at least once
so the parent pom is available in your local repo.  Then if you want
to rebuild core or api only you ran run mvn from the respective
directory.
