Subject [jira] Commented: (MYFACES-924) REST Support
Date Fri, 09 Dec 2005 19:53:10 GMT
    [ http://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/MYFACES-924?page=comments#action_12359934 ]

Olexandr Zakordonskyy commented on MYFACES-924:
-----------------------------------------------

Partly - yes, but mostly no, because I have to create new url while rendering.
For example:
                <t:link label="#{currEntity.name}" action="#{currEntity.details}"
                        rendered="#{!currEntity.directory}" restURL="EntityDetails?id=#{currEntity.id}"/>

> On the action controls we need submitURL attriute.
> This url means the URL where the request should be send.
> You may add new function:
> function submitActionWithURL(formId, actionId, actionURL) {
>   setAction(formId, actionId);
>   var form = document.getElementById(formId);
>   if (form) {
>     form.action = actionURL;
>     form.submit();
>   }
> }
> First 2 parameters will be as in submitAction functions.
> actionURL - the url where to send request to execute action.
> This function may be rendered if actionURL is not null instead of submitAction.
> We need this functionality to support REST-style navigation.
