HawkAaron opened a new issue #10358: ndarray argmax bug report
URL: https://github.com/apache/incubator-mxnet/issues/10358

   **ndarray argmax doesn't support default axis for one dimension array:**

   ```
   a = mx.nd.array([1,2,3])
   mx.nd.argmax(a)
   ```
   Error report:
   ```
   terminate called after throwing an instance of 'dmlc::Error'
     what():  [21:32:06] src/engine/./threaded_engine.h:359: [21:32:06] src/operator/tensor/./broadcast_reduce_op.h:392:
   A fatal error occurred in asynchronous engine operation. If you do not know what caused
this error, you can try set environment variable MXNET_ENGINE_TYPE to NaiveEngine and run
with debugger (i.e. gdb). This will force all operations to be synchronous and backtrace will
give you the series of calls that lead to this error. Remember to set MXNET_ENGINE_TYPE back
to empty after debugging.
   Aborted (core dumped)
   ```

   But if we add `axis=0`, then it works:
   ```
   a = mx.nd.array([1,2,3])
   mx.nd.argmax(a, axis=0)
   ```

   ```
   [ 2.]
   <NDArray 1 @cpu(0)>
