Yes, we are still interested because NIO doesn't perform better than blocking-I/O when the number of connection is relatively small. But its priority for us has been very low because we can live just OK with NIO. If you are interested, you can always start to work on it and let us know. BTW you shouldn't reply to a unrelated message to start a new thread because some e-mail clients will not recognize it as a new thread but a reply to an existing thread, which annoys users.
