Hey guys,

That is correct! I'm from Argentina and that could be one of the reasons
I was highly interested in MINA. ;) I don't think that mina (slang
version) has any relation with "mine". It is just slang (afaik).

"Mina" is also slang in Argentina for a cute girl or "babe" which
doesn't make any sense because mina in Spanish means "mine" (like a coal
mine) or "lead".  How they associated that with a hot babe I may never
know. :)
