I think you are looking into the wrong bin/ folder (t= he one under top-level mesos/) - the actual binaries are in ${MESOS_HOME}/b= in/build

I am positive that the instructions work = on CentOS 7.1 as I had to run all those recently on a VM of mine.

BTW - If you are looking for the libmesos and various include= s, they will be under /usr/local (you can change that by using something li= ke:

../configure --prefix /path/to/install/di= r

After following the directions her= e: =C2=A0=C2=A0http://mesos.apache.org/gettingstarted/

Which for centos7 includes the following:

  # Change working directory.
    $ cd mesos

    # Bootstrap (Only required if building from git repository).
    $ ./bootstrap

    # Configure and build.
    $ mkdir build
    $ cd build
    $ ../configure
    $ make

In order to speed up the build and reduce verbosity of the logs= , you can append-j= <number of cores> V=3D0=C2=A0to=C2=A0make.

    # Run test suite.
    $ make check

    # Install (Optional).
    $ make install

But the installation is not correct afterwards: here is the bin director= y:

$ ll bin
