---------------------------------

[~klueska] We have discussions in slack before. This should be caused by [~frankscholten]
didn't perform {{./bootstrap}} again after he change compiler. [~frankscholten] May you mind
close this ticket if it works for you now?

> When building with g++ 4.8.5 the configure script fails:
> {code}
> checking whether we can build usable Python eggs... cc1plus: warning: command line option
'-Wstrict-prototypes' is valid for C/ObjC but not for C++ [enabled by default]
> g++: error: unrecognized command line option '-Wdate-time'
> g++: error: unrecognized command line option '-fstack-protector-strong'
> error: command 'g++' failed with exit status 1
> configure: error: no
> -------------------------------------------------------------------
> It appears we were unable to build a usable native Python egg.
> There are two possible workarounds for this issue:
> 1. Disable python bindings by configuring with --disable-python.
> 2. Use an alternative Python installation that was built using
> the same build setup as Mesos.

> {code}
> When building with g++ 4.9.4 the build fails with a segmentation fault:
