Subject [jira] [Commented] (MESOS-2154) Port CFS support to Docker Containerizer
Date Tue, 29 Sep 2015 18:33:04 GMT

Wrikken commented on MESOS-2154:

OK, I certainly cannot speak for what's desirable for others. Some questions come to mind:

(1) Does --cpu-quota work for the lxc driver as well in Docker, or can it only be set with
the extra lxc options? (I'll check up on that)
(2) Are people currently using lxc-drivers (libcontainer has been the default since.. 0.9?
not sure) with both lxc limit options & cpu limits (I have no way of knowing)

It seems an easy patch for us (running Docker >1.6), maybe we'll look into running a patched
version for now.

> Port the CFS support the Mesos Containerizer has to the Docker Containerizer. Whenever
the --cgroup_enable_cfs flag is set, the Docker Containerizer should update the cfs_period_us
and cfs_quota_us values to allow hard CPU capping on the container.
> Current workaround is to pass those values as LXC configuration parameters
