The following commands trigger the crash:

$ sudo hostname foo  # an unresolvable hostname
$ sudo ./bin/mesos-master.sh --ip=127.0.0.1 --work_dir=/var/lib/mesos
$ LIBPROCESS_IP=127.0.0.1 ./src/mesos-execute --master=127.0.0.1:5050 --name=bar --command="while
true; do sleep 100; done"

The crash output:
