Subject [jira] [Created] (MESOS-1663) Store which containerizer or containerizers get instantiated.
Date Mon, 04 Aug 2014 16:10:15 GMT
Benjamin Hindman created MESOS-1663:
---------------------------------------

Summary: Store which containerizer or containerizers get instantiated.
                 Key: MESOS-1663
                 URL: https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/MESOS-1663
             Project: Mesos
          Issue Type: Bug
          Components: containerization, slave
    Affects Versions: 0.19.1, 0.19.0, 0.18.2, 0.18.1, 0.18.0
            Reporter: Benjamin Hindman

It's possible that an operator specifies different containerizers via --isolation= (pre 0.20.0)
or --containerizers= (post 0.20.0) across different runs of the "same" slave, which means
some containers can be orphaned. Which containerizers are used should be recorded on disk
for the slave to recover and verify.
