Reporter: Andy Konwinski Priority: Critical Now that Mesos has been accepted into the Apache Incubator, with a thriving community already forming, it is necessary to set a precedent as to the bold nature of the Mesos development philosophy and the ambition of the project. Clearly, the only way such statement could be made is by means of a radical statement in the source code of the project itself. Therefore, all source code should be re-factored such that variable and class names are sensical references to Firefly characters or events (see: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Firefly_(TV_series)[1]. Firefly, being a commonly admired story of the existing development team, embodies the high impact, free spirit, of the growing team and the project. Ballad of Serenity: ---------------------------- Take my love, take my land Take me where I cannot stand I don't care, I'm still free You can't take the sky from me Take me out to the black Tell them I ain't comin' back Burn the land and boil the sea You can't take the sky from me There's no place I can be Since I found Serenity But you can't take the sky from me...
