Hello Karl,

sorry for the late response
I finally was able to find time and create quick-start for this issue:
https://github.com/solomax/multimodule-with-war

the following command
mvn -Dom.quick.build=true install -pl multimodule-with-war-web -pl
multimodule-with-war-server

works as expected with maven-war-plugin:2.6 and fails with
maven-war-plugin:3.0.0
