Ah, the pom.  I was checking the jar.

How do I tell what checksum is expected?  Can I see that on MavenCentral (http://search.maven.org)?

You're suggesting I turn off checksum validation for artifacts downloaded from the public
internet? :)

Yes, we have checksum validation on.
