Never mind, adding the <classifier> with the id of the assembly from
project A does the trick:



        <dependency>
            <groupId>com.example.projectA</groupId>
            <artifactId>alfa</artifactId>
            <type>zip</type>
             <classifier>alfa</classifier>
            <version>X.Y.Z</version>
        </dependency>
