One of your deps define it in its (inherited) POM. All you can do to get rid 
of it is to define a global mirror in your settings.xml:

    <mirrors>
      <mirror>
        <id>maven-proxy</id>
        <name>Maven-Proxy for all repositories</name>
        <url>http://localhost/nexus</url>
        <mirrorOf>*,!private-repo-release,!private-repo-snapshot,</mirrorOf>
      </mirror>
    </mirrors>
