Subject Error in Maven: plugin does not exist
Date Wed, 17 Jun 2009 12:30:21 GMT
Hi everybody,

I am new with maven and I just downloaded it and tried to run a sample command, but I get
an error. I guess that maybe the error is because I need to configure my proxy server in the
settings.xml file, I made it, however I am still receiving the same error. Any ideas what
could be the error? Is there a way with Maven to test the connectivity to the repositories
to download the plugins?

Thanks a lot,

Diego Vera

P.D: Below is the command I run and the error I got.

apache-maven-2.1.0\bin>mvn archetype:create -DartifactId=my-app
