Subject surefire doens't record failure when exception thrown during .SpringJUnit4ClassRunner.invokeTestMethod
Date Thu, 27 Nov 2008 12:17:18 GMT

I get the report that

[ERROR] BUILD FAILURE
[INFO]
------------------------------------------------------------------------
[INFO] There are test failures.

Please refer to /Users/.../target/surefire-reports for the individual test
results.

but the surefire report file is completely empty.

has anyone else experienced this?

The failure seems to be due to a missing class file - but regardless, the
exception thrown should be recorded properly by surefire. This seems to be
an issue with Surefire. Thoughts?
