Subject Problems with org/apache/directory/build/1.0.6/build-1.0.6.pom
Date Wed, 01 Oct 2008 00:25:32 GMT
http://repo1.maven.org/maven2/org/apache/directory/build/1.0.6/build-1.0.6.pom

has incorrect repositories/pluginRepositories entries which makes
depending projects to do unnecessary hits to 3rd servers

for snapshot repos you have to make sure they include
<snapshots><enabled>true</enabled></snapshots>
<releases><enabled>false</enabled></releases>

releases repositories need to be removed, everything is/needs to be in
central, if not let me know

snapshots repos could also be removed for releases (no longer needed),
and if you extend the apache parent pom you shouldn't need them at all

could it be fixed for next releases?
