So, went through. I was not able to reproduce the XML error even after tens of times, but
the first one. The reason is quite simple now: missing synchronization (race conditions).
Please see MNG-2802 and its child ticket. MRESOLVER-123 and MRESOLVER-131 solve this. There
is nothing we can do, but to synchronize access to metadata files.
