Sorry but that does not answer my question: What is the purpose of using a timestamped version?
Would it be sufficient to use stripVersion? Furthermore I'm asking cause I try to understand
what kind of use case you have. Best would be explain the project you have and why you need
to use maven-dependency-plugin:copy...?
