    Resolution: Fixed

many tools are available as CLI tool and provide additional Ant or Maven integrations: see
Apache RAT tool https://creadur.apache.org/rat/ , for example
but sure, this is not absolutely necessary: it really depends on your users and if the integration
has sufficient value for your average users

closing the issue as documentation is improved
