Subject [jira] [Commented] (SUREFIRE-1177) TestNG "suitethreadpoolsize" parameter can not be set by Maven Surefire
Date Thu, 17 Sep 2015 18:43:04 GMT

Julien Herr commented on SUREFIRE-1177:

I'm agree with [~dundacek] when he said Surefire and TestNG should collaborate.
We have both interest that Surefire and TestNG work well together.
Pull-requests are perfect for sure, but issues are better than nothing. ;)

{{void configure(CommandLineArgs cla)}} is present, [since 5.14|],
and {{void configure(Map cmdLineArgs)}} was deprecated [since 5.14.2|].
But it doesn't means the deprecated method should not be fixed.

Feel free to open an issue if I can help by doing something on TestNG. :)

> Because of Surefire is using deprecated TestNG.configure(Map) method, parameter "suitethreadpoolsize"
value is not read by TestNG. And so test suites can not be run in parallel. This parameter
is read only in TestNG.configure(CommandLineArgs) method.
