Subject [jira] Commented: (ARCHETYPE-246) Poor Formatting # chains

Libor Tvrdík commented on ARCHETYPE-246:
----------------------------------------

Ups. Comments are not saved in the javadoc, but I was lucky. This left me when I used a reference
to the stop method. Call #stop means the end of the Velocity runtime. So you get the output
cut file. This is not good :-(

{code:java|title=Input file (in archetype-resources)}
public class Application {

	/**
	 * Stops thread manager
	 *
	 * @see org.tanukisoftware.wrapper.WrapperListener#stop(int)
	 */
	@Override
	public int stop(int exitCode) {
		System.out.println("Stopping application"); //$NON-NLS-1$
		return exitCode;
	}

	public static void main(String[] args) {
		// WrapperManager.start(new DHCPServerApplication(), args);
	}
}
{code}

{code:java|title=Output file (after call mvn archetype:create, locate in src/main/java)}
public class Application {

	/**
	 * Stops thread manager
	 *
	 * @see org.tanukisoftware.wrapper.WrapperListener
{code}

> All resources are formatted using Velocity. This is about right (even if the parameter
<resource format="true/false"> would be good). The problem occurs when I set the sources
of the *"#"* character.
> In [Velocity user guide - Escaping|http://velocity.apache.org/engine/releases/velocity-1.5/user-guide.html#escaping_vtl_directives]
says that it is possible to use *"\#"*. But after run "mvn archetype:create" still getting:
> {code}

> It is curious that in the class javadoc (/** @see XY#get() */ everything works. The problem
is resources (see attached file).
> Could you please fix this problem? I need the *"#"* for comments.
