Subject [jira] Commented: (MNG-3965) shade plugin error when compiling Mercury trunk
Date Wed, 21 Jan 2009 18:14:19 GMT

Shane Isbell commented on MNG-3965:

The shade-plugin generates a dependency reduce pom in which there is an execution for maven-remote-resources-plugin
with
. The parent also has maven-remote-resources-plugin
with a default id (not defined). Pom builder treats these as two valid executions (one with
id, one without). Then when pom is output, the
is
stripped out, leaving the pom with two executions, neither with ids. Thus failure.
