Subject [jira] Commented: (MAVENUPLOAD-1651) junit 4.4
Date Mon, 23 Jul 2007 13:45:13 GMT

Tomislav Stojcevich commented on MAVENUPLOAD-1651:

A question about this particular upload. For the first time junit has included files from
another project in their distributed jar. The files under the org/hamcrest package.

The maven way would be not to include those files and just add a dependency to the org/hamcrest
jar which is in the repo (version 1, although version 1.1 is available at
and I think that is what they used based on what's in their scm

So, should I redo this and remove the org/hamcrest class files from the junit.jar that was
obtained directly from the junit download site
and add a maven dependency to the hamcrest 1.1 jar(which would also need to be uploaded),
or leave it as is since they include those class files in their distribution?
