Subject Re: [apache/maven-dependency-plugin] [MDEP-644] Reintroduce the verbose option for dependency:tree (#92)
Date Tue, 04 Aug 2020 18:49:21 GMT
Can everybody please use the Jira ticket as branch name when possible?

Otherwise it is way too hard to see the status of these branches.
( I claim 'stabilize' in case the master became unstable, which gives me enough freedom to
analyze the issue. Once stable any stabilize-bracn can be removed)

Looking at
https://builds.apache.org/job/maven-box/job/maven-dependency-plugin/

it looks like quite some branches can should be cleaned up.
Having so much open branches doesn't help us with our relationship with INFRA.
We already blew up the queue at Jenkins twice in a short period.
Keep in mind that Jenkins is shared with all other ASF projects and that "dead" branches can
still be triggered to be rebuild.

thanks,
Robert
