Yes, I also prefer that, but I was a bit confused about
<version>SNAPSHOT</version> (seen in docs and mails), so the recomended =
way
is

<dependency>
...
  <version>1.0-SNAPSHOT</version>
...
</dependency>

And I'll suppose that this is supported and everything's gonna work as
expected.
