Subject [jira] [Commented] (CONNECTORS-1429) Windows shares crawl - preserve last access time
Date Fri, 02 Jun 2017 13:46:04 GMT

Markus Schuch commented on CONNECTORS-1429:

[~daddywri] i'm curious. Where does that rule come from? Are there legal issues if a connectors
would do such a thing? Or is it a general design decision? Is it documented somewhere?

Btw.: one could argument by not resetting the last access timestamps the connector actually
modifies the last access time stamps.

and set the last acces time of files:
> It would be nice to take advantage of this and propose in the JCIFS connector an option
to preserve the last access time of the crawled files if the JCIFS lib allows it.
