Subject [jira] [Commented] (CONNECTORS-1239) Solr Authentication Issue.
Date Tue, 15 Sep 2015 13:07:45 GMT

Karl Wright commented on CONNECTORS-1239:

The reason for the behavior is that the Solr connector is treating a 401 code as meaning "the
document was rejected". So it will not be tried again. You can only override this behavior
only by making the output connection "forget" about its current state.

I've checked in a trivial fix.

> -	Job is run, Job Finishes; Document Status shows that the document's state set to Processed
although no document appears in Solr

instance container; HTTP Status 401 -- This request requires HTTP authentication.

> -	The authentication details are corrected in Solr Output connections
> -	The Job is re-run however, MCF believes the documents have already been processed successfully
and thus does not sent on the document to Solr unless reset seeding is applied after the authentication
details have been corrected.
