Alessandro Benedetti commented on CONNECTORS-1223:
--------------------------------------------------

Mao, I am perfectly fine with the responsibility, I was only surprised to find both the project
in 2 different repositories.
I guess that the Alfresco Client is actually a sort of Alfresco java client to access the
Alfresco Rest services right ?
I will contribute my little change there, and then upgrade the alfresco connector to actually
use the new method.

Cheers

> Components: Alfresco webscript connector
> Affects Versions: ManifoldCF 2.1

> I improved the check method for the Alfresco repository connector to be more verbose
, explaining the different types of Erroneus scenario happened.
> When taking a look to the trunk I see we have a dependency with an external module :
AlfrescoClient .
> That is actually hosted in a different source repository ( Mao github [~maoo] ) .
> Is there any reason it is not been contributed directly ?
> What can I do if I want to provide the change ?
> I see the 2 projects quite coupled, and having them on different repository can make
the mantainance hard.
