Subject [jira] [Commented] (CONNECTORS-1223) Alfresco Repository connector check
Date Thu, 23 Jul 2015 11:58:04 GMT

Maurizio Pillitu commented on CONNECTORS-1223:

I like the separation of the 2 projects, as it clearly splits responsibilities:
- Alfresco Indexer provides an AlfrescoClient as a simple way to access Alfresco data (you
must know a bit about Alfresco arch. to deal with this code)
- Manifold Alfresco Connector uses AlfrescoClient to extract data from Alfresco (you must
know a bit about Manifold arch. to deal with this code)

You can open issues on and I'd be more than happy
to provide commit permissions if you want to closely contribute to it.

Is there any specific issue on alfresco-indexer that you need to address?

Thanks for the feedback!

> I improved the check method for the Alfresco repository connector to be more verbose
, explaining the different types of Erroneus scenario happened.

AlfrescoClient .

> I see the 2 projects quite coupled, and having them on different repository can make
the mantainance hard.
