Looked at the cookie issue in more detail; apparently the meaning of the 'value' field is
not as I thought.  So we basically have a similar setup to commons-httpclient, where attributes
and ports are separately pulled from the cookie, and there is no easy way to track an unchanged,
packed cookie intact through httpcomponents.
