Ahmet Arslan commented on CONNECTORS-491:
-----------------------------------------

Hi,

I tried literalsOverride=true parameter but it didn't help. Somehow two values [, Emek Kilic]
are injected to solr. One comes from literal.Author= parameter.

{code}
SEVERE: org.apache.solr.common.SolrException: ERROR: [doc=http://iknow:2525/Documents/Vekaletname.pdf]
multiple values encountered for non multiValued field Author: [, Emek Kilic]
{code}

{code:xml}
    <requestHandler name="/update/extract"
                  startup="lazy"
                  class="solr.extraction.ExtractingRequestHandler" >
    <lst name="invariants">
      <bool name="literalsOverride">true</bool>
      <str name="echoParams">all</str>
    </lst>
  </requestHandler>
{code}

> The Solr connector does not escape metadata values that have ";" characters in them,
and Solr thus tries to treat these as multi-valued fields.
